Our clients wanted to make some changes to their garden without a full re-do and high on their wishlist was a pond.  We came up with a design that retained half the lawn but added a large formal pond to the bottom of the garden.  The pond stretches most of the width of the garden and custom cut Jura beige limestone slabs take you over the pond and lead the way through dense shady planting to a seating area at the back of the garden.

The pond is a wildlife pond and has been planted to create a self sustaining eco system with no need for filters.  Planting behind the pond is a mixture of evergreen and deciduous plants.
