Semi Shady Garden - Teddington

We completely transformed this semi shady garden in Teddington from wall to wall grass to a lush, inviting and practical space for this lovely couple.  We introduced warmth and interest by using beautiful clay pavers to journey through the garden to a rear seating area that gets the afternoon sun. A bike shed was introduced for some much needed storage.  Both the boundary fence and the shed were painted in dark colours to provide a backdrop to the planting and to help the bike shed blend in to the back ground rather than being a feature in this smaller garden.

The planting is a combination of floaty perennials and evergreen structured yew balls that will provide year round interest and structure. As with so many London gardens the planting has been designed to accommodate both sunny and shady conditions in a small space.   This garden renovation was carried out in November and is flourishing into its first spring.
