Reviews from Wild Thomas Gardens Clients

We were blown away by the quality of the work which Karen and Jake completed for us, with the final reveal far exceeding our expectations! Having given only vague ideas and plans of things which we liked, Wild Thomas came back to us with detailed plans and suggestions which we had not even considered. Their recommendation for our front garden was sympathetic to our existing back garden and they even took the time to speak to our kitchen supplier to make sure the front garden patio tiles matched our internal kitchen tiles, it’s the little touches like these that have made our new garden even more special for us. Karen and Jake have taken the time to make sure that the garden is multi-seasonal, with new bulbs and flowers planted making sure that the garden will look beautiful and interesting throughout the year. The work itself has been carried out to the highest possible standard, they sourced and stored all the materials for us and ensured that everything was spotless when we returned.

I was very happy with the work carried out by Karen & Jake. They were professional, hard working, polite and conscientious.
They gave great advice and always ensured I was kept informed and involved when there were choices or decisions to be made. As the new garden took shape I changed some of my original thoughts. Karen & Jake were open to working with the changes and came up with good viable solutions.
The work was done to a very high quality, with exceptional attention to detail. At the end of the day everything was left tidy and safe.
I would definitely recommend them.

They really listened to what I wanted and built on that, using their expertise to give me a beautiful new garden. Thank you both!’

This garden in Teddington has been developed over the course of a year.
Our client wanted us to improve what she had without a complete redesign. It is a very shady garden by nature with limited opportunities for sunny planting.
To transform the garden, we started by targeting the sunniest parts. We broke out some paving to create a bigger bed and converted some of the lawn into a border.

We needed to address the problem of failing grass and moss taking over in the shadiest part of the garden. To do this we extended the bed at the back and planted with evergreen, shade tolerant plants to create a lush woodland garden.
Finally we removed some grass turf and laid a shade tolerant wildflower turf for added interested and to support wildlife within the garden.
Bulbs will be added this Autumn to complete the seasonal interest.

I wanted to make my garden more interesting; more colours, more flowers but I had no idea what do as I am not a gardener at all. Karen and Jake asked me questions about what I liked and following a walk through my garden, taking detailed measurements, Karen and Jake came up with a design for my garden including illustrations of all the plants they would recommend. It was beautifully thought through even taking into account what I would be able to see from the restricted view I have from the room I use to work from home.
They took care of everything, and the garden was transformed. I used to like my garden, now I love my garden. I can’t wait for the spring to see the garden come to life.
Karen and Jake were great to work with and very patient with all the questions I had. Thank you so much for creating a beautiful garden.
