GARDEN RENOVATION - TEDDINGTON

Our Clients wanted to turn an unloved backgarden into a space that their young family could use and enjoy. They wanted to create a space that would provide them with different play areas for their children but also include some planting and interest for themselves.

Our solution was to remove an old tree stump that was dominating a large part of the garden, level the lawn and build raised beds.

The plants we chose are a combination of evergreen and perennial plants that give interest and colour throughout the year.  In our plant choices we had to accomodate a mostly shady bed alongside a very sunny one and find plants that work together and complement each other.  A beautiful final touch was the addition of 4 standard Ligustrum standard trees, one to represent each member of their family.

To complete the project the clients will be adding a recycled tyre obstacle course and a swing set.

As a part of general maintenance and upkeep of the garden, the clients decided to replace the fence on all sides whilst the work was underway and we contracted DCS Landscapes to carry out this work for us. They did a beautiful job with a challenging project navigating their way around tree stumps, boundary lines and a substantially higher path behind the back boundary wall.
